Hellmaw is a dark urban fantasy world created by Ed Greenwood, creator of the Forgotten Realms(R). The first setting to be released by the new transmedia publisher, The Ed Greenwood Group (TEGG), Hellmaw has a ten-year publishing schedule with six story arcs, bringing the confrontation between daemons and humans into brutal light.  This line of books, short stories, audio dramas and much more(!) has some PG offerings, but is overall recommended for mature audiences only.  Daemons, after all, care not for human sensitivities….

Ed Greenwood
Creator and Publisher

Ed Greenwood is an award-winning Canadian writer and game designer. Although most Canadians don’t know his name, he has been in the top ten (usually top five) writers of bestselling Canadian fiction writers almost every year of the last two decades.

Ed created the Forgotten Realms® fantasy world for the Dungeons and Dragons game; it has been featured in board, roleplaying, computer and card games, comic books, and a bestselling novel line that has spanned twenty years and hundreds of titles by more than sixty writers, including R.A. Salvatore’s famous Drizzt novels. Ed is currently Canada’s only judge for the prestigious World Fantasy Awards, and has published over 170 books that have sold millions of copies worldwide in over a dozen languages.

Lore Guardian

Born in Illinois, the land of corn and soybeans, Samantha came to the publishing world through a rather circular route. Starting out as an Irish Dancer at the age of 15, she also became a die-hard fan of D&D and Whitewolf. After years of helping world build (and occasionally destroy) she found text roleplay forums and got interested in editing. A series of lucky coincidences later, she found herself part of TEGG and hung around until they gave her something to do to keep her out of trouble. Now she’s a desk jockey by day and Lore Guardian by night.

 Eric Belisle
Art Director

Eric is a freelance illustrator and designer based in Tokyo. He has worked in the video game industry as a modeler, texture artist, and concept artist for twelve years in both Canada and the US. Among his clients are Wizards of the Coast, Paizo Publishing, Bigshot Toyworks, and Anki. His drugs of choice are coffee, red wine, and music from the ’80s.
